Why crying is important?

Its just a myth that the one who cries is a weak guy.
Many studies have shown that those who cry occasionally are mentally strong.
Crying helps us to relax and gives emotional relief to us.
Its just a body's way to handle extreme emotional conditions.

Ever felt relaxed and stressed out after crying,
this is because we shed lots of Cortisol or stress hormones in our emotional tears,
Those are fully responsible for mental stress, increase in heart rate, blood pressure or even anxiety and depression.
With that many other harmful toxins are also released when we cry.
As we shed this much stress hormones, we fell asleep quickly after crying,
As crying helps us in better, longer and deeper sleep, that's why young babies always sleeps after they cry.

2:-Crying helps us to heal from both physical and emotional pains.


When we are in pain either emotional or physical their is a chemical mostly responsible for that pain.
That is Oxytocin with Endrophins(Endogenous Opioids).
When we cry for a long time, we release Oxytocin and Endrophins along with our tears
After releasing these two chemicals we get relief from our pain.
It's also very beneficial for self soothing, with that it gives you a calming effect, which provide a sense of well being to you.
So it's okay to cry sometime to throw your stress and tension out.

So by now you know that it's just fine to cry.
You can also say that a good cry is a reset button for our mood.
When sobbing we take cool breaths in which helps a lot in regulating our body and brain temperature which eventually cools our brain down and Its a great thing to have a fresh mind then a boiling one(full of tension and stress).
It can be a great way to lifts your spirit up.

We cry whenever our body experiences a strong emotion which our mind is not able to handle.
This is because our mind wants to stabilize our emotions.
As we lose our loved ones we experience extreme emotion of grief that our mind and body are not able to process so in this condition we immediately start crying
to just shed oxytocin which is playing with us mentally.
Many studies have shown that crying is one of the best way to get out of grief and accept our lose.

The very first thing that a new born does is that it cries so that the lungs can adapt to the new environment and it can breath properly , also to clear out any fluids in lungs, nose or in mouth.
For the first year crying helps the baby to communicate with his parents if it is in need.
A study have shown that many of the parents make their baby cry(controlled crying) in order to provide them a better, faster, and longer sleep, using this tactic babies are less seen to get up at night.

We are not encouraging you to cry but our motive is it give you a averseness that it's not a sign of weakness if you cry instead it's mentally very good if you cry occasionally.
Always remember that it's just a bodies way to stabilize everything.

It's also not very good if you cry often as this can be a sign of some mental issue.
